The details.
Our Tuesday field volunteers are the hands-on servants who share hope with those experiencing homelessness every Tuesday over lunch. We gather at the Southern Hills UMC to load supplies, and travel to a park in Stockyard City at 11AM to serve food, pass out clothing and hygiene items, and build bonds of fellowship.
Our Tuesday meal preparers make our outreach possible! We gather at the Southern Hills UMC early on Tuesday mornings to prepare meals. If you love to cook, have a passion to make sure that hungry people are fed, and you love to laugh…this outreach is for you!

Not everyone is capable of contributing by volunteering in person. If you care about the difference that we’re making, but you can’t show up in person to help, you can show up financially and make it possible for us to do more. EVERYTHING you give will go straight to the homeless outreach. We need food, sundry items, blankets, coats, hats, gloves, sleeping bags, and tents. Your gift might very well be the reason that someone survives the night.
